Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Well got the front end closer to the ground tonight but still need some calipers and brake lines to finish up the front end, also put the new wiring harness in for the 350, fixed some wires and wrapped it up in new loom.

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
I was waiting on someone to say they couldn't tell lol glad your paying attention Billy.
It was a biotch to get the springs in with no weight of the engine on my side  Definatly going to have to lower the back more... Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Y'all have to at least get all the crew cabs running lowered first. Then we can take a pic of all 3 generations of our lowered crewcabs.

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Yeah!
Slam that bad boy!!! And BTW, I don't think it's possible to change your mind any more than me  Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Man,those narrow rear doors make the fronts look huge. Never noticed that before.
Keep on. |

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
I understand.
I always wanted a 2 door tahoe. After owning one for 5 months now,I understand why they discontinued them. Too hard to access the rear seat. |

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Yep. When I get the title back. I'm goin to sell this one. I'd rather have one in a lot better shape, more original, true patina, and big back glass. Yeah yeah I know good luck... But I've got enough on my plate in the meantime. And I kinda like buying cars and trucks that have been sitting out for awhile and putting them out there to give other people the chance to build something................
O and my wife HATES it! ;) And Scott looking good! Now get to work!................ Just kidding! Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Scored a nice dash today at pull-a-part and took it home and washed it off and cleaned it up. There were a small couple things different from the old harness and the one from the other parts truck i had so i went ahead and swapped out the harness but the new one was in better shape so its a win win. Got the dash in and looking halfway decent and would post some pics but my wife is playing a game on my phone and wont put it down long enough for me to get the pics off
Tried to put the steering column in but the bracket that bolts to the dash was a bit different so i need to find the other ones i have and see if i have a bracket that will work. |
Re: My 93 Crewcab Build

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Got a shiney part! :metal:
Also a guy from work wants to trade me these wheels for some of my stock steel wheels, so looks like the crew is getting some wheels also ;) http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/k...k/6bbc5acf.jpg http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/k...k/de734367.jpg Posted via Mobile Device |
Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Sweet!!
Is that the RV grind? Got any specs on it? Those wheels will look good on there until you get some bling! ;) So....you'll be driving this thing Monday morning, right? :burnout:  Posted via Mobile Device |
Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Nice. I always liked those wheels.
|
Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Not sure on the specs he just said it was an RV grind for better pulling.
If my trans was finally built then yeah maybe but without that I'm not all amped up and excited to build the engine and get it in. Going to get the bearings and rings this afternoon and "might" get it built this weekend but probably will be painting the '67 I've been working on. Kinda wondering about the wheels now, the new guy at work that has them no call/no show so he may not be around monday to get them swapped.. :( Posted via Mobile Device |
Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Got the short block built but forgot some of the bolts at work needed to be able to finish it up so ill have to another night.
