I like it as is. But if you ever repaint the truck, then maybe add the white below.?

You guys have talked me out of painting below the trim......at least for right now, :D. Here's a video test drive I made when I was playing around with my cell phone video recorder.....cut-outs where open....:). Turn your volume all the way up and that will give you a better representation of how loud it really is.....................

I bought it directly from Retrosound. The price was as good as anyone else's.

Our local track is closed for new management, so not yet. Also, I've been working on my new "shed" so that's taken up time and $$$$. I'm getting close to having it done (at least the exterior). I moved my son's truck in there today. I'm thinking of taking the 68 to the Goodguys show in Memphis. If I can get it dyno tuned before I go, I may run it down the track....

You have built a really nice street truck. Great work.

Nice little shed you have there. Wish I had the room to build one like that at my place.

About the same size, but more overhead storage and some separation from the house....

Thanks! A boardmember (Shifty) started the project and did a great job compiling parts and putting the concept together. I'll start a build thread sometime this fall...

Re: 68 S/C update.....

OK, possibly thinking about upgrading to an LS motor. I want to drive this truck more often and would really like the overdrive and A/C, :D. A buddy of mine said he will buy the supercharger setup for his 67 Nova, as soon as I pull it off, :). So, how much do you guys think the motor and transmission are worth? Carb to pan and with a built Sid Neal turbo 350 transmission? The setup has about 6K miles on it. Thanks for your input!

Re: 68 S/C update.....

No idea on value, but I vote DO IT! If you're gonna, might as well make it NASTY though. Can't pull a snarling blower motor and replace it with a 5.3. I'm thinkin' big cubes and high compression for that 'Hot for Teacher' intro idle. My .02...

Re: 68 S/C update.....

Just thinkin out loud here, but it would be a shame to pull a supercharged small block and put in a N/A LS , please don't bring shame to this build, twin turbo Ls? Blown LS??

:D, it will be at least a 5.7 and will probably have a huffer on it, :sexy:.
