Awesome, thanks for the info Chris. Let me know how that booster works out for you once you get the truck on the road.

This truck is nothing short of awesome. I have not seen it in person since the bed was put on but I may have to make a road trip.

Sorry Eric , I somehow missed your question . I plan on taking it out this coming weekend and see what she does . Exhaust is now done and the brakes are working like they should . Only thing left to do is get the front end aligned . Then it will be mainly working on the tune . Oh and A/C , but I'll just sweat it out till that gets done .

Thank You ! The tanks is from Tanks Inc . It's their UT poly tank . Intank fuel pump is their PA-4 pump .

How is it coming? I'd love to see this one getting some sunshine and stretching her legs out!

Been logging some miles on her and getting the tune worked out . Monday I went to put it on the lift for an oil change and was met with a no start condition . Something is shutting down the injector driver in the ECM . I'll get it worked out , just waiting on some days off to have the time to do so ! I'll keep y'all posted .

Well it appears it's actually the driver itself that failed in the ECM . Sent out for repair / replacement and they should receive it tomorrow .

Here's a few pics from the install of my 3pt seatbelts from Juliano's . The only mod I did was fab another mount for each retractor . The ones provided were bent at 90 degrees and if used it would wind up at a funky angle to the seat . This pic shows the difference . All attachment points are in the stock locations .

I don't think these were available the first time I had checked out their website . But now they are ! Black/chrome GM buckles .

They are a tad bit slimmer than the stockers but I think they compliment the seat perfectly .

Thank you Keith . Those buckles were the deal maker as their belt setup is a lil pricey .

Loading her up tomorrow night for her trip to CTC . Haven't spent the time I'd like to on tuning the VE tables, ( lost about 2 weeks when the ECM took a nose dive ), but the fueling is much better and decent to cruise around . Just have to keep my foot out of it . We're gonna go enjoy being out with it then back to the shop for more work before Good Guys in March '15

Re: Bowtie468's Extreme '68 BuildPage

Thanks guys, I'm enjoying it ! With winter here , I'm taking the downtime to make a few changes and a few upgrades . First thing that had to go was the Detroit Locker in the rear . When I bought the unit many years ago , the truck was being built as more of a weekend warrior thing . Those of you that have run them know exactly what I'm talking about . They're great, tough units . But extremely aggresive and they don't ever let you forget they're back there ! The ratchet noise was driving me nuts . I want it nice and quiet so it's getting replaced with a Trac Loc unit .

Also on the list is new kick panels in leather to match the seat . New radiator cover, Porterbuilt hood hinges and Hills inner fenders .
