Glad to see you got the photbucket straightened out. You have any idea how popular your builds are? That's why your banwidth is through the roof. Keep the pics coming, it looks great!

what all was done to the inside of that motor other than the parts you listed. I like the AFR heads so you run the full rollers and keep the short original valve covers on it still.. When they did the dyno was it 550 at the crank or did they have the tranny hooked up too so 550 at the wheels?...The very near future is a Dart SHP400 which makes 550 at the wheels on pump gas so Id love to know if they port matched the heads to the intake to make a lill more. either way we both have kick a** motors!!!!!!:metal: and the truck as turned out beautiful.

Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build

I am not sure of all the specifics on the motor because I did not build it, but it is a full roller with a big cam I believe the heads are 198. It does have forged pistons and rods. I am not sure on the crank. It was on an engine dyno. I will try to get the dyno sheets from motor machine so I can post them. Hope this helps

Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build

Glad you guys like it. Mario shot the motor last night. I put the rear bumper on and finished installing the air ride. Works great. I got the hood latch on and all bracing mounted. I am planning on trying to mount the motor this weekend. I will get some up dated pics asap. Thanks Eric

Hey......Pick up your phone! Ive been calling you for 2 days. Dont make me blow your phone up like some crazy ex girlfriend! If you have the front drive lets get that on before we drop the engine in! Last but not least, order some black Taylor plug wires, its alot easier to fit them on the engine stand!

The truck is looking great! I hadn't read the build thread on here, just what you had in the 66 thread about this truck. Man you got alot done in a short amount of time. It's too bad that you didn't make the deadline for the redding show, but now I'm not too bummed about not making it up there today (I had a birthday party for 2 of my nephews today). Are you coming to the Oroville show? If so I can't wait to see this truck in person! Hopefully I will have my truck back in one piece be then (I chopped it from a LWB to a SWB, and its getting bags too) so I can enter it in the under construction category. Keep up the good work!

wow, that looks great. I'd be interested to see how high your hood opens with that PB strut setup. I noticed on mine it doesn't open very tall...and I'm a short guy.
