Another vote for Darcy! love the pile of pb parts. Katy`s a little jealous (she doesnt realize how much money i have sitting here in parts waiting to go on her). cant wait to see it come together. love the idea of it laying out.

I'm not sure if you guys know this or not but Darcy has pretty much been my mode of transportation since I sold my 4runner a few months back. Thats why I have been dragging my feet on disassembling her. Well I recently decided I needed to buy another truck to drive so I can really get going on this build. So this weekend I bought a 68 long fleet 50th anniversary from board member JQ-72. Here is a pic of ol Goldie!

Heres a few pics of the 3 amigos! The green GMC is one that I will be taking in on trade for some work I'm doing on a 66. I will be making some repairs on it and putting it up for sale. It has some really good options and it in pretty good shape!

Very true lol. There are a few things I need to take care of before I start driving Goldie everyday. It looks like someone picked the truck up with a fork lift at one time and it crimped up the exhaust. So I need to fix that and a throttle linkage issue as well as a few other small things. I plan to make space in the shop for Darcy by the end of the week to start disassembly!:metal:

Nice addition Rus, I eventually want to get another one too just to beat around in and do Home Depot runs. Can't wait to see Darcy torn apart.

This truck is sitting on my road at Jason Bullock's shop. He's the one who did a lot of work on my old blazer.

Congrats on the 50th...that JQ-72 sells some nice stuff. Got any long-range plans for it, once Darcy is on the road?

Idk I plan to lower it and install disc brakes. I am replacing the exhaust and a little tuning then drive it and spend all my extra money on Darcy!!

Bullock said the guy lives in KY and wanted accuair and vintage installed. He should have it at the shows around here. I'm guessing he's wanting all that done by Goodguys, but that's just me speculating.

Hey Rus--I hate to get off-topic; but I'm going to look at some 22.5 alcoas this afternoon. They are stud-pilot. Does it matter if they're stud or hub pilot?

What will you be asking for the GMC? I might be interested in it. If I remember correctly its a 71 which is what I had been looking for.
