My buddy and I (Trevman) both aquired dually's a few months ago. Both of us have small shops and did our restores there. Trev has a few pieces to put together yet but the bulk work is complete. These trucks are like 2 restorations in 1, there is a lot of square footage for 1 guy to prep, sand, fill, fix, paint etc etc etc, all crew owners will understand... I have some other posts describing what is in the 79, which Trev dubbed the 'sex machine'. In his 1988 self titled 'Wyld Stallion' is a TBI 3fiddy, 4.10 gearz, Dana 70 rear, 4 speed, air and crooze. The pair are now ready to ride!

Those look to be 19.5's from a P-30 chassis bread truck. You can search ebay and look for 8 on 6.5 19.5 wheels, or P-30 chassis wheels. You can even buy these new at heavy truck parts retail stores. But they're around $180 ea new I believe.

suspension setup is as follows:
-12 inch superlift springs upfront with an ez inch and 10 degree shim from DIY4X and also 7.5 inch extended shackles on the rear of the front springs. Front spring and upper hangers are modified to accept 5/8 grease-able bolts with poly bushings.
-The rear has stock 1 ton leaf packs, it has a shackle flip, inch correction plate (moves the eyes back to the correct spot for axle location) and 5.5 inch pro comp blocks. just wanted to keep some kind of payload because i do some towing. i'll have pics of everything on tuesday when i make it back to the shop

-Steering components:
-consist of a rebuilt, drilled and tapped for hydro assist, 2wd steering box.
-hogged out power steering pump:lol: for more flow to ram assist.
-8x1.5 inch hydraulic ram for hydro assist.
-4 inch drop pitman arm
-1.5 inch dom tubing for center link and crossover bar, 3/4 greaseable heim joint.
- Springless dana 60 arms(caps) tapered and drilled for centerlink. had to use a 2.5 inch spacer on both sides to clear the 12 inch springs and ez inch.

im sure theres more but i'll update ya guys on tuesday esp with more pics!:metal:

A few pics of my truck before, during and after. Now just need to add the CARR Super Hoops and window tinting and the flatbed, then off to another year of giving balloon rides to pay for it!
