Thank you. Just under a million polys after subpatching. :-) I use lightwave & the Kray renderer. Takes about 8 minutes per.

Hey guys. I have been reading here for a very long time, and this is my 1st post. Great place for info. Here is my monster. Dad ordered it from the factory in 71, and had it until 94. The guythat bought it lifted it, put a 396 in and slid 35s under the 6 in lift. Then, let it sit in his barn. I bought it back from him 12 years later. Dad was so happy to see it back. (That was one of those, I wish I would have never sold it things) But now, we are in the middle of a restoration. I just cant wait to get it back on the road.

That is a great looking truck. Where about in WA is it sitting? I want my truck to look like that some day. It's awesome that you guys were able to find it again and bring her back home. :metal:

It has been close to Longview while I have been stationed in Japan. (Navy)
We were very fortunate to be given 1st opertunity to buy it back. I have had 5 other trucks, but none compaired to the old green monster. I have never seen another the same. Close, but not quite. :)

Right on! I was in the Navy for a while. I got out in '06. Always wanted to go to Japan, but never really got the chance.

Could you send me a ninja suit if I sent you some cash??? ;)

It is possible, they are pretty stealthy though. It could prove to be a little difficult. That, and the idea of meeting said Nekked Ninja in a dark freezing ally here is not on the top of my bucket list.

Would you have any idea where I might find sombody that can make or would sell a chrome roll/light bar in WA? I have been looking everywhere and the only pics that I can even find are on the OLD USA-1 (when it was a 71-72)

I didn't think about that. I guess they would have a sword also huh??:smoke:

You might find the answer to that question in the Washington section of the board. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/f...play.php?f=182
We have a bunch ton of knowledgeable people here in the area. I personally wouldn't even know where to start looking for one of those.

Looks like a slightly darker shade than my 69 camaro's original color, frost green.

Hey I've been useing this site for a while, just now decided to get an account though haha. Well this is how it sits right now, about to go pick up all my suspension parts and start my frame off. It's already had a frame off before just wasn't kept very well. At least the PO already had the frame rhino-lined lol. Not bad for $1800 I think. I took off the bed and it's almost done, working on the sidemarker fuel door right now. I have been takeing a bunch of pictures and will compile them into a build page here in a few days. Well here ya go!
