Guh. Should have dodged it. :D Looks like it'll heal up nice; sorry to see it, though.

Got my tax return back today. I've been sweating it because I thought that I'd owe a ton of money for sure like last years disaster.

Well knock me over with a feather but I'm actually getting money back. Not a lot but it sure beats paying. I'll take it all day long and twice on Friday. What a load off my mind.

Also had a setback. My new blinds that I ordered are on back order. So if I move into the new place it'll have no window coverings. I'll be living in a fish bowl. Bad news for the neighbors. If they see me naked they may become violently ill.

You could hang sheets on the windows until the blinds come.

I'm not going to bother. The jokes on them if they peek. What can be seen cannot be unseen.

Decided that a reciprocating saw would work better so I treated myself to a new one . And the after shot of the arm

Went to move the motorhome because I have an appointment next week to get it inspected. Left front locked up had to rock it back and forth to get it to break free it’s always something .

I may try to get one about that year with under 100K miles on it. I remember driving it a few times and liking it a lot.

I don't like the looks of Dad's '03 Silverado that he's agreed to give to me. I was never crazy about the "Cat Eye" years. Getting it for the right price, though, thanks to Dad. He always took good care of me and still is.

I'm with ya on the "cat eye". Couldn't own one.
I had a 2000 that I really liked and was my first introduction to the LS series engines. When that rusted to dust, I bought a clean 2011 in 2015 and hope I can keep this truck until I'm done driving. It is a really nice upgrade from the 2000, with the independent, coil over from suspension and electric fans for cooling. Mine has the HO 5.3, all aluminum engine too.

Installed a new drive belt on the Gravely zero turn and started troubleshooting a surging/jerking issue in the golf cart. Batteries and cables seem to be fine (both less than two years old) so I am thinking it may be the inductive throttle sensor. One is on order and will replace that when it comes in.

Put a "No Soliciting, thank you" sign on the front gate. We'll see if people can read and heed.

If we want it, we'll go find it ourselves.

I don't get any solicitors. I have a big ole German Shepherd in front and he doesn't care for them. That takes care of that.

I bought a new DD truck today. My F450 just isn't working for me now. It's so big and it's not like I'm going to do any lifting anymore. I can't. So it's going away and I replaced it with a 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. It's smaller and better suited for my needs. I bought it on the net so it'll get delivered Thursday. I like my 2019 Wrangler so hopefully I'll have good luck with this one too. It was expensive (what isn't anymore) I stared at the computer for half an hour before I finally pulled the trigger. :(

Good luck Paul, you have better luck than I do. :waah: I always get screwed by picture purchases.

I actually have had good luck so far. I got my Porsche, my Corvette, and my F450 online and they were better than expected. The Jaguar...Eh not so much but the guy told me what it needed. So it really wasn't a surprise. I knew going in.

Hopefully the Jeep will work out too. I got it from Carvana and they seem pretty reputable.

No worries from me, though. I like my truck and I'll just keep it and drive it.

Canada guy called back yesterday and says he sold one of his other vehicles and now he's got all the money he needs to get my truck across the border. I guess the deal is back on.

What did Johnny Depp say when he played John Dillinger.......Bye Bye Blackbird.

As they say though, a deal is not done until the title and cash cross hands.

Yesterday and today I worked on the yard. I dug and cut tree roots and winched them out of the shrubs in front of the house. We have a large Magnolia too close really to the house and it's roots for some reason are running toward and under the house footing. They were all entangled in the shrubs. I intended to just cut a few roots and re-do the beds but the more I dug up the more I found. I found a stopping place today thank goodness.

I locked my painter in the yard today. I was leaving and told him that I was closing the electric gate and to use the other one. No problem. He has the key to that one.

About 2 hours later he calls me and says he's locked in. So again I said to use the south gate. He says he can't because I have all my :censored: cars parked in the :censored: way! That's a direct quote.:haha: He wasn't happy. I told him to just sleep in his truck until I got there tomorrow. He didn't think that was funny and called me vulgar names.

So I told him where the extra controller was and he hung up on me. I just love teasing that guy.

 No I don't think so. After all I pay him. He just likes to gripe about everything. Especially his wife. Don't even get him started on that one unless you've got some time on your hands. :blah:
