Re: my 80 build

now time to find a 4l80 my plan is to find one without a converter if so I'll add one with around a 1500 stall and a mild cam, but the parts I do have is a brand 87 fuel tank and sender, with hoses and fuel filler tube, and I plan getting the harness lengthened so I can sill keep the wires hidden and mount the computer behind the glove box

Re: my 80 build

only if it was 4.8, when I got the motor it had two things wrong with it, was the oil cap was missing and the Idler pulley was broken so I emailed the seller I they said "I apologize for that and I will make it right. I will send a cap and replacement idler pulley"

menace121978 08-13-2010 09:31 AM

Re: my 80 build

glad to see you got it and they are making it right. to double check if its a lq9 pull the plugs out and the pistons should be flat top. the lq4's are dished.
