It is a very nicely put together truck and will make somebody very happy.

I wish I was in a position to be able to buy it.

Good luck with the sale.

Sorry to hear you're selling. It is a super nice truck and priced right too. I started mine as a driver too I hope I don't end up getting too carried away. Good luck with the sale.

I live in the "Los Angeles area", so I worry about it being vandalized or stolen. I have literally been sitting in a restaurant and seen guys looking in my windows, crawling under, and looking to pop the hood. I love having such a cool truck, but it gets major attention for it to be a daily driver.

Never really heard how the exhaust sounds and how the truck performs. Doing the same engine and tranny conversion. My truck is on air so I have been looking at my options on the exhaust. What size are your exhaust pipes? Don't know if I will try the X pipe or H pipe design.

Did you end up finding a buyer for the 67?

Re: '67 5.3L Build Thread

Yup, this truck is sold. I really do miss it already. It was/is a great truck. I hope it is being well taken care of.

The exhaust sounded great!!! It was an H-pipe setup with 2" all the way back. I would highly recommend the Magnaflows.

Hope you will consider another 5.3L project. Something like this http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/2728430344.html Do your 5.3L magic, change to c10 suspension, and fix up the interior and ... Presto! You have your new daily driver.

That is a good deal. It's still a little too soon for another project, but I'll keep my eyes open in the mean time.

It was a blast to drive. A lot of power, quick throttle response, and smooth revving. I would highly recommend the conversion.

Usually about 20mpg with mixed driving. Not too bad for a 1967 pickup.

I think I will take your advice on the next build. I may stop by. I always enjoyed the guys that attended. I will definitely be at the Brother's show. I still love classic Chevy trucks even if I can't own one right now.

Was the ECM programmed for your injectors. Mine were programmed for flexfuel. I had regular ran lean all the time switched to flexfuel injectors no more lean codes
