Thank you! I am VERY fortunate. She even popped the hood and repaired a fuel line issue roadside yesterday :metal:

Where's the pics of this new owner you brag of??

Pics are a'comin'. The truck played a big part in the photo/video shoot after the ceremony, so there will be plenty o' media in the days to come-just waiting on processing/editing :waah:

I used Monroe-Matic 32301 rear/33033 front. The others were trash, so that's where I put them...

Your speed is inspiring. IM putting mine together right now. Not that fast though. Do you have a 9-5 job? I cant imagine you do. You have to do something that gives you a few days of free time.. If you do, thats an even BIGGER feat. Congrats on the truck and new life man. You deserve it.

Let me just say that the faux-tina on this truck is really good.
I stepped out the door at work and there it was, yeah in oklahoma.
Awsome looking even up close.

I do work a 9-5 (most times more), but am lucky enough to have VERY understanding supervision/management and a bunch of vacation saved up. I was only able to sustain that level of effort for a short while working towards getting it ready for the wedding. I can tell you honestly that everything else suffered because of it, but having it here makes it all worth-while; keep doing a little bit at a time and you will get yours done. Now, for me, it's back to 'normal', well, after the honeymoon :D

Man every time I look at your build it makes me want to get motivated. You moved so fast on this truck I'm embarrassed of how slow I am. I've been milking mine for almost years now......ouch
can't wait for the pictures! Congratulations!

Lotsa sacrifice to make it happen this fast, but well worth it to make my woman happy :)

Got a few previews from the photographer:

Thanks- I do plan to beat it up some. I'm trying (unsuccessfully thus far) to get it to grey before doing the dings. Not an easy task with pine, but I have a few more ideas to try before staining it...

Try LIFETIME wood treatment. You'll find it at Schroeders log home supply.

I will check into that- it has started to get a nice patina from just sun and rain...

Thanks all! :D I think the truck is just a cool prop- the real centerpiece is in the dress- waiting on the photographer to get back to us with the 'good stuff'- this was just a preview...

Very true. The real centerpiece is the model inside of the dress. Nice, tasteful, 'playful' poses. The photog did some nice shots!
