Just read thru the whole thing...YES OKLAHOMA ROADS SUCk! I lived in Poteau for a couple years building the bowling alley there, then the cracker plant....and back to Texas! Youhave a helluva truck brother!

Your truck is badass man. Nice work. Question. Im trying to get in contact with a guy that runs a shop there called Built by Tripp. Cant ever seem to get the right number. You wouldnt happen to know him would you?

Thanx!!! ya im doing pretty good.. i was hopeing to have an update this weekend but im still not done with my rear brakes/5 lug axle swap.. i got some new wheels so hopefully new pics coming soon

Man i had a drum that was kickin ass so i ran out of time. Only get one day off this week so im gonna try to make it count. Btw u need to slow down. U making me feel lazy!!!! Lol

I'm hoping to get the clip on this week, than its break time, as I want to get the new shop in order, when the trucks are done we need to get together sometime.

just another okie chimming in.

the build up is great, congrats on the hard work, looks like it is about to pay off! (agreed the OK. roads are not O.K.) i have been seeing more and more of these bagged 60-66styles popping up, so i might be looking into one and your build will defiantly help me out!

you might want to hit up our KICKER car show sometime here in Stillwater, Ok. when you are done, its growing pretty big and everyone seems to be good with it, just throwing that out there.

great work and i'm just starting the whole photography thing and the pics are awesome!

hey when is that show?? i plan on taking it to a alot of shows once it is done

btw good luck with ur photography!!! its alot of fun!! ive done it as a hobby for a long time. the main reason i got into it was to take good pics of me and my friends rides, but im glad i did

cool i will have to check that out!!!

btw finally got some updates
installed my fan on the front of the radiator to keep the engine bay a lil cleaner
also drilled some holes to make sure i had plenty of airflow

also got my 5 lug axle installed and rebuild the rear drums.. didnt really get any pics while doing all that.. hands where way to dirty to grab my camera..lol

and last painted my swaybar and reinstalled it

no pics of the front wheels yet.. i had bought some portawalls but they didnt want to stay on the rear tires.. guess they have too much bulge.. i put the tires from my steelies on the new front wheels but i dont like them.. they are 215/75-15 and i think im gonna buy some 205/70s for the front. the wheels are 15x6 2.62 backspace
the back tires are 275/60s on 15x8 with 4 1/4 backspace

once i get some different front tires i will pull it back out of the shop again and get some better pics.. i plan on getting new tires next week

Like so many here I love this truck!! You can tell by my build!! The wheels are perfect!!
No white walls!!! Love the speed holes too!!

thanx guys!!! i was kinda bummed when i figured out that the portawalls wouldnt work on the rear tires but the blackwall is growing on me!! cant go wrong with black and chrome right??!!
