That looks like the hot rodders "exploded view" of a C10, complete with the tools used on it... different than the engineer's "exploded view" (think LMC truck catalog)

In the local news today, the Blue Angles were practicing again and the sonic booms were shaking everything apart according to some of the local residents.:smoke:

Thanks guys! I plan to finish the welding by this weekend so I can refit the bed on the truck. Then I can drill the holes to mount the bed wood and fit the wheel tubs. Then it's off to paint!

It's a kick @ss kit car... If I was able to scrape up the cash I would own it, best build going on the board right now. He's building it with the though of selling it, but unlike the others who build to sell he's building it as if he's going to keep it. Building it right = worth every ¢. :metal:

I was just joking.

I know what all is going in to it, I have been following this very close and have been in touch with him on it.

This is fastly becoming one of my favorite builds.

Hopefully it winds up in my garage.

I knew where you were coming from, it does look like a big snap-tite model kit in the pic. But honestly, you might want to lock down a deal 'cuz someone might scoop you. ;)

Not a lot of visible progress this weekend as I had a lot of other "chores" to do around the house (laying sod/maintaining other vehicles....), but I did get some more welding done on the bed. I plan on putting it back on the truck tonight and will start fitting the bed wood. I also picked up a climate control panel from T Korinek to use with the Vintage air setup.

C10_ustacould 02-23-2015 10:22 AM

Re: Project "Shifted"

I have the Vintage Air conversion kit for that panel if you need one. Let me know and I'll dig it out.
