One year after i did the driver side I am finally ready to do the passenger side cab corner. I went with a tabco corner never used one before but i've heard they are the best and made in the USA.

cab corner done. I think the tabco fit better then the ones I've used in the past.

looks like I will have to tighten up the door gap a little since I set the other side up at 1/8 and this side looks more like 3/16

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build
That cab corner does look like it fit well. Looking good overall!

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build

I also ran into another snag, apparently my cab has been sitting on the trailing arm crossmember. Not sure exactly how i'm going to fix it yet but I have a few ideas.

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build

If not you may have too many washers on the wrong side of the frame mounts. |

I made mounts for the rear seat. I made some plates with nuts welded to them then welded them on the botom side of the floor. then I cut some 14ga
out for the top to help distribute the weight from the seat. I also made the other speaker mount and seam sealed everthing. Only thing left for the rear is the seatbelt mounts. |
Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build
Man you are killin this thing! I love it. Need more! :)

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build
I always forget about floor bolts until I am installing stuff. Again, your are doing great work with this conversion.

here it is almost done just a little fine tuning with a straight file and it will match the other side. 2nd pic is of the door edge

Yesterday I finished up the upper door channel and fixed the drip rail.
Drip rail was way off it was not right from the factory it was too high in the front then sloped down towards the rear. It did not match up at all,but with a little work I got it all straightened out. I marked it in the pics to show how off it was. |
Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build
This is one of my favorite builds because I know every time I check it out I'm going to see some fabrication going on, great stuff.
