Holy crap! Yep, it's stuff like that where the rules get changed alright! "What could go wrong, what's the big deal?" That right there is what can go wrong!

The Mc Donald's photo looks like 3 Chevys & 2 Mack's - looks like a bulldog on the hood.

Yep, didn't notice that, all I am seeing is the AD. LOL Yeah, I am thinking Australia too.

One of many pages of the event:

Movie of parts of town after damage (there's at least on AD in the footage):

Thanks for posting. That is quite a story from just down the highway. I found the video tours on Utube and watched them all. Now I guess I need to make a trip down I-5.

Only two possibilities: Someone intentionally burned alive OR a utility worker accident.

Since there is a rope or cable around the person's waist with his back to the timber I'd tragically guess the former. This is WAAY beyond tragic racism. This is terrorism, mayhem and murder.

Ugly as human actions can possibly be.

could have just been a simple house fire and poor person could have been asleep. Corpse is so light it needed to be tied to stretcher to move it without it falling off. Not racism. terrorism ect. IMHO. A tragic accident

that Mayflower rig brings back memories. in the 70's I Worked for a Mayflower agent on Oakland. We had a similar rig that was used in parades and other forms of advertising.

How about the bed? It looks like it's a short bed on a long bed frame? Or they simply lengthened the frame maybe?

The film The Racing Scene is currently on available Amazon Prime. I watched it and it was a was pretty good documentary filmed in 1969 so lots of newer trucks, but I saw some AD's in the back ground.

Is it me or has the windshield in the Craftsman truck been shortened? I'm guessing it have been a custom body as opposed to a modified Suburban. I love the full length rocker moldings.
