My wife has gotten very adept at finding 60-66 trucks. This morning she spotted what appears to be a 1965 long step side in pretty good shape.

Here is an old pic of my 65 taken in 1998 by the local newspaper for the grand opening of an arcade in my hometown, looking for another longbed now, wish i had never sold that truck..

This guy lives around the corner from where I work. G-body front clip & driveway built step notch out back. It's a static drop too (he relocated the upper mount for the rear coils when he did the notch). 350/t-400/edelbrock carb. Says he gets about 15mpgs out of it.
I've seen it on the web before but never in person until last weekend.... |
