Thanks, my 70 CST engine was orange and this one I wanted something different. I feel that for sound deadening every little bit helps.

Gave my truck a new face...so to speak. Yes, I know the bumper is for a GMC. A friend of mine gave me two brand new bumpers, one front and one rear. The front one happened to be for a GMC. I wanted to see how a new bumper would look with the new front grill.
Drove it around a little (open headers), did a little burn-out...it was GREAT!

drove my '70 for about 4 hours straight to pick up a 250cc scooter for my ungrateful sister and added a quart of oil to it to keep her happy running down the highway at 65mph

Here are a few different angle shots of testing and freeze plug failure.... and what it could look like for you if you don't change them when the motor is out....I won't put up a "before" picture. The motor was in there snug as a bug in a rug. At least until until the pi$$%ng contest started at the first start-up and freeze plug puke.

That's Butch doing most of the good work.

I ordered me a Painless 18 fuse wiring harness from Streetside Auto, and perchs, a "deluxe" track bar & brackets from CPP (the latter is to adapt my 12 Bolt from my '76 Blazer that is nicely modified) for my '70 GMC today. I'm excited to finally start getting this show on the road :metal:

Think I'd just torch off the hinge so you can get at the bolts behind the fender, then replace the hinges and door with different ones. Least you can get it off to see if the door is salvagable that way

It's exhaust tubing for now, just wanted to try it out, will go with DOM if I like it. Turning out to be a major undertaking though.
