Maybe you gotta fool it by laying down when taking the pics, haha.
You're making forward progress. Keep it up. Curious, without going back through the thread to check, are you swapping the distributor as well? If not check the old one for wear, proper advance curve etc. It can rob you of power and make it run poorly. |

Very pleased with how much work was put into making them better than new As many of you recall, they were warped from the previous guys shoddy welding work Now they’re like new and high quality And the hood latch panel is new again |

So the Eldelbrock carburetor came in the mail faster then I expected
I put it on the intake just to see what everything will look like so far I still have to finish installing it and hook things up to it Hallelujah!!!! I feel like I am getting so close to getting it running by itself. Still need to get a driveshaft, wiring harness and some other things. she’s making some major progress |
Re: Project "Schrum" 1959 Gmc 100
Your truck is coming along very nicely! You have done a great job and it will be a blast to drive when finished. If you get a chance get a 1 inch spacer to put under your carb, should help to keep your gas from boiling when you drive it. Good choice on drivetrain also.
