Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread

lol, yup, its parked at the bottom of the driveway at the moment, and the driveway is up hill and so is the street which is even worse, and i cant get my other car out, or my bros girls truck out as they are at the top of it(the driveway). luckily he has a truck that just happened to be parked in the street, what sucks even worse is i dont really have the money to get it fixed right now, and it needs to be in the garage tonight

Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread

lol, thats the funny thing, and the thing i cant believe the most, i didnt give it that much gas until it ripped and made one hell of a noise when the rpms jumped and it was banging around till i shut it off. and then put it in gear after it stopped spinning, not that that matters with no drive shaft

my guess is it had already had a light crack and the stress on it caused to break the rest of the way, or it was bent and it moved/flexed and the stress caused it to crack. very plausible explantions haha

project 67 sub 03-13-2011 09:45 PM

Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread

true lol, but it wasnt the original one so it was not bent and should not have been cracked, i bought it from cpp a few years ago to replace the non slip shaft that came on the burb from the factory
