Very nice. Are those new seats in there? No more highbacks? I like it.

Thanks Topfuel, all of the ones I've seen are black plastic and too BIG to fit in there. The fill pipe is pretty close to the inside of the quarter panel. The side marker opening is only big enough for my thumb, pointer and diddlin' finger. The bright stainless cap sticking out of the top of the fender on the Jimmy is more appealing every time I gas the Blazer.

I used a weld in custom bike tank filler, screw on billet cap about 2-2 1/2" around.

That is AWESOME! Great job. What did you use for a hinge?

It's just a late '90s fard gas door cut up, I'd guess most anything could be made to work. It did take quite a few hours to get the light to seat just right, it's a total surprise to people who don't know I did this; the light sits perfect when closed.

Wow what an impressive ride, you should be very proud. Any chance of seeing pics of the interior.

Both of 'em are kinda hard to put fuel in, they tend to splash back and shut the nozzle off. It's hard to wiggle the cap out from inside side marker light opening on the Blazer. I've been looking for one of those permanent gas caps that has the place in the center where you poke the nozzle in. It'd be a big improvement to swing the hinged side marker light open and just stick the nozzle in. I haven't found a cap small enough to fit inside the opening yet.

Hopefully this link works http://www.haganauto.com/category_s/43.htm.The filler wasnt as expensive as I remembered, it was only $50.00. I guess this info should probably be on a different thread. I'm taking a trip down to the Sacramento Roadster show next week, are there any California Blazers attending.

I love the look of a rear roll pan on a Blazer bum, but I can't bring myself to cut the rear frame to do it!

You don't by any chance have a hitch tucked up under that license do you?

I'd like to have a hidden hitch on mine, but I havent seen anyone do it with a rollpan.

Everything about your blazer is top knotch. The interior is super clean. I really like how you made the glove box match the dash panel, I've never seen that before, hope you dont mind if I borrow that idea for mine.

Thanks AGAIN Topfuel, sure wish I could achieve this without having to graft another end onto the filler neck... maybe modify one of the caps from the link you provided.
Regarding the roll pan rear, I like 'em both ways. The P.O. installed the roll pan. He'd cut the frame clean with a sawzall and gave me the pieces when I bought it. Guess I could tack 'em back on and buy a bumper...

I would prefer a bumper. But roll pan was on when I bought it.

It can be done. There was a hidden hitch but I took it off cause I will never tow anything

Thank you very much for the compliment. Glad you like the glove box idea. I don't mind at all. That's what great about this forum we can all share different ideas with each other

I've been mad at 'ol "JIMMY FOUR EYES" since my air ratchet smacked me in the mouth while I was putting the new bumper on. My lip healed up... can't stay mad too long. I had a better looking grille and headlight trim. His face scrubbed up pretty good. I think he's a "wannabe" 4wd.--- stock height susp., roll bar, and a spare tire carrier.

4x2 frame sitting next to the former 4x4 frame (it has since been shortened but I don't have that pic available)

ROFL.....

I forgot all about that thing being in that pic. YES. Yes, that is in fact an S10 with a Mustang front end. That's at my friends shop. He was doing some work on it but can't remember what. (no, not putting the s10 front end back on) My friend said the guy likes to be different and really likes it. It takes all kinds.
