I am not sure what a completely refurbished tranny goes for in CA, but that would be a good price here in Kansas City. Either one sounds pretty good to me, but without seeing them and having the details of what "refurbished" is, I can't really tell you for sure. If you can get the refurbished one for $450.00 with some sort of guarantee or warranty, I would go that route, but thas is if I were in your shoes.

I haven't seen one in a while. I have a few, but they are nestled in my trucks. Sorry I haven't seen any, but I will keep an eye out, because I see them from time to time in my travels.

Sounds good.Is the v6 and v8 different.Not sure what motor came with it.Has v8 now.Like i said.Thanks

The V6 was only available in the GMC trucks, not the Chevy trucks. The inline six and V8 throttle linkage is different, but the accelerator pedal is the same for the six and V8's.

Oh meant to ask.Have you or anybody else you know converted the rod throttle linkage to a new pedal cable etc setup.

Thanks for the inquiry. The only bed I currently have, that is not spoken for is a '63 lwb fleet. I can disassemble the bed sides, if that is all you need. Let me know your thoughts and I will reply accordingly.

Hey Tony. Do you have the horn pieces that make contact between the horn button and the t/s asym? I have the white plastic piece that sticks threw the steering wheel, but something is missing between that and the button.
