Re: "Rice Rocket'

sorry guys. Ive decided to get a diff. cab and throw mine together so I can drive it. My blue truck is my DD and its got too much rust. Im going to locate a better cab and work on it. Im putting my windshield hood fender and door back on and gonna drive it WITH the cab coner cut off...I know but ive gota have something to drive I know a member sorta closeby with a few cabs..but the cab I have has rust everywhere everytime I turn around theres more bondo/rust its just to bad

Its in the upper 90's here and too hot to work. Ive been soaking in the gf's pool all day lol. Hopefully in a few hours I can start to work a lil any tips on windshield replacement?

And where can I get the clips that hold the inner fender to outer fender?

Sorry to here about your cab. Rockers, floor and cab corners is one thing, but when you add drip rail and windshield rust in there it gets to be alot. Well, above my skill level anyway. Good luck!

Should be. 5/16 course thread. And they should just strip out if you cross thread one. unlike the originals that break and you still have the nut stuck on the bolt.

Re: "Rice Rocket'

I dont have a pool. Its at my Gf's house in her dads garage THEY have a pool. All I have is a garden hose and a mudy pond..

Ok so far I have:Fender on, door on (not perfect but hey i dont have a cab corner/rocker) under hood heater box is on

To come: Cowl, hood, windshield, headlight headlight bezel, tighthen bumper bolts, seat, bed

vrroom vrrrrooom :) then go pickup my other cab OR wait awhile and get an AZ cab from fine69 If I can afford it.

just looked at your pics.. i was at the stage of just a hunk of metal for the longest time.. i felt like i was never making any progress.. dont give up my friend.. when i had my outer floor cut out pillars cut out rockers off cab corners off floors cut out and doors and bed and front clip i was like what did i get myself into.. and i was like idk if i can finish now.. but you know what my truck looks like now and i got discouraged and burnt out but now i can say i rebuilt my trucks body with the help of some good friends
