its going in a 2000 f150 extended cab 4x4 taking place of a 4.6
we got the complete engine for 100 bucks
and got the truck for free
we have to pick the truck up soon

Well I guess you cant really beat that. Is there any diffrence in the wiring harness from the 4.6 to the 5.4. What are you going to do with the 4.6?

no there is not any differance
the only thing different is the deck height and intake
should be plug and play
i think i want to build a 4x4 prerunner

im hoping to sell the 4.6
i think it has a blown head gasket but im not sure
i know it popped out a freeze plug so it might have overheated

hey dud do you have an extra egr sensor form either one of those motors? it bolts to the pass side of the intake...
mines bad and i dont wanna dump a 100 bucks on it.. grrrr...

i dont know i think its a car 1 inch bore
i had to enlarge the mounting holes to make it fit and i had to make custom linkage
