Thanks guys. It rained all last week which is good for me bc I work out side so I didn't work much. Bad news is I started a house project that is now almost done. Back on the Burb this week. Wife wanted a wall moved, pantry expanded, and wall taken down. Painting tomorrow and scratch it off the list.

Rained like crazy here today. I needed to build a stand for my vise and my grinder. I had some scrap left over and this is what I came up with. Took about an hour.

I'm not sure about leaving the tire on. I figured it will help out with vibrations with the grinder.

Ok so finally got some stuff going on. I ordered a bunch of stuff and got it all in. Energy susp body bushing kit, 7inch brake booster for the under dash brake set up from Scott's hot rods. Also got the wiper shave panel in. On my frame I have to run brake lines and file lines. I don't know why in dreading doing brake lines... But I am. Ill suck it up and get it done lol.
Also got my new air valves in from dloe. Very nice quality and can't wait to hook them up.

Re: 68 Burb... here we go!!

Well today it was raining for the 5th straight day. I had to do something to keep me from going insane so today I got the 396 torn down and ready for the machine shop. It was in really good shape as she came apart. I was quite pleased. She will get cleaned and checked then reassembled with a couple goodie parts. I'm going for more of a stock looking motor, clean and simple with a kick. My buddy is a corvette freak And just got another one. Number 6 for him, it's a 67 427 vette.
Motor should be about a week or so at machine shop then another week or so to finish it up.

Worked in the shop for a few hours today. Finished up the wiper cowl. I really liked the way it came out.

lol, guess you've got the itch for another one? mine is just now making enough progress that I'm confident it'll be back on the road this year...it's been over 2 years since I drove her. But it's gonna be so much more fun when everything is done! If you're looking for a '60-66 project though, my dad might have something of interest for you.
