I know this thread is like 7+ years old but that is a beautiful truck. Hopefully one day mine will look like this. Probably not. LMAO!

Always been a nice looking truck! Engine compartment detailing was the finishing touch. Looks great!!!

thank you sir I really appreciate that. hopefully ill get my wire loom on soon and ill take closer pictures, forgot to take close pictures of the hood hinges new springs, air cleaner and cover panels were all powder coated like new. but will next go around and hopefully a video of the sound

been away for a while figured i would post some recent pictures. i finally got a wood bed kit and was really leaning towards the bed wood and parts kit but came across this kit thanks to a post i saw on facebook. its from www.smokeyroadrodshop.com its an all aluminum kit which for me living in houston was the best option with our crazy weather. it was really easy to install and frank and rhonda are wonderful to deal with. also finally took my truck to the first show LST since the engine bay refreshing and was very happy to pull off a Top100.. heres a few pics for you guys and ladies. this year plan to clean up the engine bay on my 87 now that iam done with the 71

That's cool. So you drop it in, or have to bolt it in through the floor?

its dropped in but can be bolted with the rear bolts but i do not think there is a need. i asked for rubber to place under the braces and on the sides of the braces and trimmed the braces to where they are very snug.
