I spoke with Raul yesterday and he is finishing up the metal beam in his garage then he is going to be full speed ahead on this build.

sorry guys i've been a little busy pretty much restoring a 2003 gmc 1500hd
slt model , which now ive decided to sell anyway , i have just a few more touches then ill post some more pix and the link for the add ,im hopping to finish my garage engine hoist with my dad tomorrow , here is one pix of the gmc

lol !!! it was really beat up, i did new rug,headliner,leather,bedliner,bumpers,grille,lamps,some body work and paint , and added some goodies ,

well today I came over to my boys house so we could finally put up the beam in his garage. Raul and his dad had already done all the hard work all he needed help with was just to lift the beam and secure it in place. I took some picts to share with you all....Now that the beam is on I am sure Raul will move this projecrt fast forward real quick as I know him and i both are anxious to get the stepside "abuelo" moving on it's own power..

ok we used some angle iron to modify the rollers bracket so it would bolt straight up in to the hoist , and finally we are done , now i finally have a nice extra tool in my garage , an overhead electric hoist lift , now i can get back to the truck build , here are some pix

well its been 5 months since i got the slosh tubz from mike , i took them out of the box for the first time today , yes i got a bed conforter also !!! lol
they look amazing , its time i get them on the truck

originally i was buying some foam stuff to wrap them and it cost me about $15 a set, i buy old blankets from the Salvation Army for $2.50 apiece....works out much better !

i sprayed the inside of them today and ill start the butchering of the fenders tomorrow , ill post some pix when done installing them
