Testing the waters

https://images.craigslist.org/00s0s_...q0_600x450.jpg

https://monterey.craigslist.org/cto/...419249924.html

It's an original paint all original 4x4 California Suburban since new. These don't come up for sale very often so I figured I'd post it here to see if there is someone that has been looking.

327/sm465/np205 updated

Fawn interior have protecto plate, build sheet, manuals, etc tons of paper work up until 1979

All original other than 4" lift (DIY4x B52 kit and shackle flip in the year. and disc brake Dana 44 front.

Message me with reasonable offers or trades

Interested in C10,C20 or a newer crew cab truck (2500HD, Avalanche, etc)

New body mounts, new stainless brake lines in the front (hard lines) all new stainless soft brake lines, plus a lot of other work done.

Cons:

Needs odds and ends sorted to make it a good driver. Including

Rust in rockers/kick panels and behind rear tires

carpet or rubber mat put back in

Brake pads/rotors and bled

engine tuned up

Clutch linkage work

This is a very unique Suburban and truly one of a kind it was my dream build but for the right deal and to the right person Id consider letting it go.

I have owned a lot of these 67-72 Chevy trucks over the years so can answer any questions you may have.

Reasonable offers considered.

Tough to beat out the local buyer....I had that problem when I was looking for our Burb. And isn't if funny / rude / annoying how a seller won't text some pics for a long distance buyer? And how so many of them won't close the loop when vehicle is sold?

Sorry for my rant...now back to Suburban and panel finds.

Either seller got rid of it or he really doesn't want to part with it. Tried reaching out to purchase it x2 with no return call. Love these type of sellers, every car guys dream.

soooo, guess who called this morning on the way home from breakfast with Chevyland and another buddy of mine?

Randy from Oregon! said he had over 20 calls and some local lookers that have all declined due to extensive lower rear rust..

previously titled in washington, original paperwork is not available..

I politely declined without even asking for pictures [I'm woefully aware of what rust looks like in one of these]

so if you like what you see in the picture, he might meet your price after so many turned it down, good luck!

Re: Suburban and panel finds

Well, he hasn't reached back out to me so I won't hold my breath. And to be honest even if he tried reaching out to me at this point I wouldn't even bother responding to him. Cannot stand sellers like him.

Anyone remember seeing this a year ago out of portland? $11,500.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

It's a 72 with a 70 grill, odd but not a big deal I guess. Create 350, auto....3/4 ton with lift.

Ummmm.... Is this a test, cause I didn't study. And my brain is thick today.

mtdave2 01-01-2018 11:45 PM

Re: Suburban and panel finds

Lol no test.. the fellow claims he bought it in portland last year off Craig's list. I figured it would have been seen back then and put on this tread but I don't see it.. guess we missed it then, but I have a chance to buy it now

Re: Suburban and panel finds

It was listed earlier in the year. I didn’t remember Portland but I saw it for sale. I think there’s oics on this thread.
