Yes sir. It has a Isky 292 296 duration with 505 535 lift. We had a lot of fun with it when the truck was road worthy.

I got my undercoating starter kit in yesterday. I'm using 3M 08964 Body Schutz with the 3M 08801 no cleanup applicator gun. The cab floor will be sprayed first. After seeing how far the first two cans go I will be able to see how much more I will need. Plans are to apply it to the bottom side of the cab and also the rest of the sheetmetal. Maybe after monsoon season I can post some new progress.

I found a little free time yesterday so sprayed my cab floor with the 3M undercoating. Very nice product. The bottom side will get applied at a later date.

A little progress yesterday. With a little help from Evan we got the rear inner wheel wells and the inside of the front fenders scuffed for the 3M undercoating. I'm thinking the undercoating should be here today or tomorrow and hopefully will be applied this weekend. Also planning on removing the cab to undercoat it as well. It should be a fun weekend.

Thanks guys. It's always fun spending time together but it's even better spending time in the garage. He has been out of school a week and started football practice yesterday. I think the correct term is weight training. But every time I work on the old truck he right beside of me trying to learn all he can. Good times.

Here are the before and after shots of the bottom of the cab while doing the undercoating. Still have a ways to go but pretty happy with the progress.

Last weekend I got a little work done on the truck. I swapped the engine plates to the new set that mover the engine closer to the firewall by an inch and a half. Doesn't sound like much but I like the location a lot better.

A little more progress. Welded up the extra holes on the left inner fender. I'm going to be running the wiring for my headlights on the bottom side of the inner fender so three bolts were welded in place to help hold the wiring.

Glad to see you making more progress. Keep plugging away at it! As soon as I get my Tahoe back in order, I'm gonna get down to dad's & resume work on the '66. We just bought our first house, so that's had me occupied the past 3 weeks or so. If I can ever find the time, I'd love to stop by & visit with you someday, especially since we're so close now.

It would be great to finally meet you. With all of the kids activities there is not a lot of time for the old truck but a few minutes here and there is always good. Congratulations on your new house.

Thank you sir! I'm sure the kids definitely have you busy this time of year. It's hard to believe school is already back in session. Seems like they just got out the other day. Man, summer break goes quickly these days.

I had a little time between football game and band practices to get a little more undercoating done. A couple more cans and I think I will have the undercoating knocked out.

Now for hopefully a small job. I disassembled the vent windows for new weatherstrip and hardware. I'm hoping to get them painted in the next week or so then reassembly.

Thanks Phillip. It is 3M 08964 Body Schutz. Alan introduced me to it while I was still in Georgia. It's about $25 a can plus buying the applicator gun. It sprays real good and has no clean up to worry about.

Yesterday I picked up my vent window parts. My hats off to Marty at Jim and Marty's Hot Rod Shop in Tuscumbia Al. They always turn out top quality work. Now let the fun begin putting them back together.

A couple small updates. I have the vent windows ready to reassemble as soon as my weatherstrips arrive along with a few more pieces I had coated. Hopefully it will go pretty smoothly.

Thanks. The paint is 2nd Dimension. My local paint store is a Sherwin-Williams dealer and I think it is a lower line from them.
