Thinkin' about a Get-Together in August (post Brothers Show).
This time how about some bbq? Maybe this will get more members out since their trucks will be done for the Brother's Show. I talked to board member Manimal (Lance) about doing the bbq and how he goes about it, and he sent me this pm; Quote:
Would prefer a nice park in a nice area freeway close with enough parking that is close to the area we'll be eating. Thinkin' Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park, San Dimas Canyon Park, Prado Regional Park, Upland Memorial Park, Ruben Ayala Park... Any other suggestions? Looks like the 3rd week of August unless there is holiday or another event. Dano |

I already have Manimal and his bbq trailer lined up for all the food. If this is cool, then we can move ahead. How does this sound to everyone else, next meet in the OC? Guests of WellBilt Kustoms? Chime in on this one. Dano |
Re: SoCal checkin' in
Sounds great to me. Just let me know when and where and I'll be there.

Has anyone decided or voted on a place? I think Ayala Park is cool LOTS of parking and good place to hang out and BBQ. Except when its AYSO soccer season. I missed legends and Im looking forward to this one.

Does the third Sunday August 21st sound good to everyone? Menu: BBQ Ribs, Beans, Potato Salad & Bread. I need to get back to Manimal, since he will be our food vendor that day. We'll also need to know how many people (including sig nif others, brothers, sisters, kids, moms and dads etc.) will be attending so we can have enough food. Dano |
Re: SoCal checkin' in
Sounds good to me. It shouldn't really matter if we show up early to reserve the space. we can check it out before hand and see where would be a good spot to set up for parking and close enough to shaded area to chill and eat.

So what is it about leaving a show that I have truck trouble right after.
The steel belt in my right front 2007 brand new tires with 800 miles on snapped inside the tire. Cost me 130.00 today to get a new one. Had not planned on buying tires until I change to bigger rims and tires. Whats next? |
Re: SoCal checkin' in
I am going to guess that this was the same tire
the fender landed on when you lost yhat ball joint:dohh: Posted via Mobile Device |
Re: SoCal checkin' in
Should be under warranty.

You mean when the spindle snap, yes thats the tire. Its been since 2007 so even though im under the mileage, the year covearge has past. But the tire shop is sending it back to the company to see if they will adjust the price so I can get some money back. |
Re: SoCal checkin' in
VDog your spindle cracked? Wow!
P.S. Guys I am working on getting a little cruise together with some friends down to Signal Hill. I let you all know when it will go down. Huero. |

VDog, I take it it was an aftermarket spindle? What spindle were you running?

Nothing wrong with stock spindles. I wonder what caused it to crack?
