So looking forward to it dude....

I have already started practicing my merican......lol...Don't worry i will toss a few eh's in for effect. Dude you planning on a SEMA vegas apperance? Thinking i will ship the street truck to vegas do SEMA...then put it in storage down there in vegas....fly back for november ...and drive it down from vegas.

The pro will be ready to but i don't think it would do a run like that with out a tanker truck of fuel for support.

Managed to get pulled over already....turns out the cop was a fan of dually's and wanted to check it out...no ticket....wow....but everyone i knew that drove by was calling my cell phone while the cop was checking it out...lol...friends huh ..

OK, I have a question.
This is just a question not... slamming your ride or anything.. but..
How can you tow anything with your truck set up like that?
My truck is not as low as that and I am constantly having issues with the trailers nose being too low on mine.
So, what can you tow with that and how. Seriously, I would like to know so I can try the same thing.

Well there is a couple of things ...

1) I can air up the system to raise it up....those pictures have the frame actually on the ground it wouldn't move like that...lol

2) A raised reversed hitch that you can raise your hitch up on

3) The tounge/hitch on my trailer is not welded in place ... it's bolted into a channel and can be raised or lowered on the trailer.....there is probaly 10" of adjustment on my trailer hitch alone...

4)...On my avalanche ( wich is lowered with 20's ) it worked out that i just took the slide out turned it upside down and put the ball on the top. That adjustment raised the ball just over 2" and was perfect.

But i understand what your talking about... the trailer tounge has to be nearly perfect or it tows like a hunk of junk and is all over the road...I learned that lesson years ago and always take the time to find the sweet spot before towing.

Re: 1966 SBBW pro street

I flipped my receiver and got about 3-4" higher but the bee-otch is when I am sent to pick up a trailer while working and the dang thing is way the flip up in the air...
My own trailer is fine but my truck is a work truck and there are too many times I just can't or won't pull a trailer that won't pull safe... LOL
Know what I mean ???

I will have to find some....it's my daily driver...it's been lowered and program'd with 20's....and frankly it's my favorite thing to drive. It's hard not to like things that work ad you don't have to wrench on it all the time. Thats why I got a dually.....keep the avalache nice and clean.

Thanks, I've been looking at Av's for a while, cool features. My old DD is getting long in the tooth, I thought 4x4 but the lowered 2wd look very sweet. Looking forward to the'58...well all your builds. Looks like a lot of fun, a good tired.
