Thanks.. Hard to believe this thing was wrecked on the drivers side and bed was in bad shape. His dad has a lot of health issues so we hooked him up with a nice vehicle to drive...

Still waiting on waterpump and intake gaskets but here it is as of today. My wallets lighter but hopefully these parts will fix my leaking issues. The vortec stuff fits so much better!!!

I love the truck but are you going to put the front bumper on? And can you paint the headlight trim the color of the grill. These 2 things stand out like a sore thumb.

Well I am getting a bumper sooner or later and the headlight trim is going to be painted also sooner or later... Still need interior,bed wood and some other odd and ends but the money issue is killing me.

Thanks Alan! I painted under hood and then the color just didn't do it for me or my wife so I bit the bullit and forked over $100 for a qt and reducer!!! Apple red candy... If it looks half as good on the truck as in the can ill be very happy!!! This is house of kolor's KBC line..

I'm going to paint my truck with HOK paint also. Have you ever sprayed it before? I'm a little nervous because I want to paint my truck to root beer but I've heard it can be a PITA to get it even. Just wondering what your thoughts are on it. Thanks!

I've sprayed heavy metallics and pearls and one candy job. Being this is a candy copy (shimmering base with pearls) its just like laying down a heavy pearl basecoat. I'm nervous every time I start to paint something... Follow the mixing directions and be in te correct temp and also pay close attention to flash time!!

Oh ya, I've sprayed a lot of cars/planes. I have an $800 Iawata gun that sprays really nice! Spray guns make a huge difference. I like the color you picked, should look killer!

I run a Iwata supernova ls400! Color is kbc-11 apple red... Picture doesn't really show it off very well it's bad a.. Can't wait to see it in the sun.
