Really really nice. Love the L92 engine cover, no unnecessary wires, and the Chevy orange. I plan to do mine similarly. Thanks for the ideas!

Did you have to run a high hump or anything to run the 80e?

Hey 67chevySupercharged, what kind of mods were required on the headers with the 4l80? I read somewhere with the 4l80, the Doug Thorley headers needed some grinding?
Thanks-
Doug

Here's mine as it sits right now. 2003 6.0. 4L80E. Where's everyone getting their trans cooler lines and power steering lines and fittings. I'm running a mustang power rack and my radiator has a built in trans cooler

Looks like were running the same rack anemic pinion. Where did you get your power steering lines?

Re: LS swappers, post up your pics!!

I had the pressure side line made locally at a hydraulic hose supply house. The return line I just used what was existing (truck had ps when I bought it).

That looks great! What did you do for steering column and linkage? Did you recess the firewall at all? I'd love to see a few pictures of your steering linkage and radiator fan and shroud.

It’s Seymour EN-48. The valve covers were wet-sanded and polished. It sprays very thin, so multiple layers are needed, and cures slowly, but seems durable so far

Which alternator and power steering brackets are those? Looks like a 2010+ LS3 Camaro pump? Are you sure the pressures of that pump will match the needs of the C10 steering box?

They are from ICT Billet, using 1998-2002 Camaro/Firebird pump and alternator. Not sure on the truck box, as I’m running rack and pinion with the Porterbuilt Dropmember. I have seen guys use the type II GM pump, which I understand was designed for higher pressures

Is that the Delmo kit you're using for the throttle body? Do you plan to use MAF or go SD?

I’m too cheap for Delmo’s stuff, though it is very nice. The adapter I bought on eBay off of a guy in Australia, but it looks like Holley now sells them for ~$120. I’ll be using Fitech to run the engine, so SD for me

It's just dupli-color chevy orange-red #DE1607 from a local parts store. The coil covers are the Holley big block style covers. They were painted black, then masked using a set of decals that go on the script SBC valve covers, painted orange, then decals removed, then cleared over.
