Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)
Very cool project! It makes me want to get back on my dually. I hope I can get the '68 painted in the month or two, and then I'm going to jump on my '67 GTO hard and try to get it finished. After that, I want to get back on the dually. I have the cash to do the '68 and the GTO (FINALLY!) but its going to take a little time. Both of them are running and driving and the interior is done on the GTO, so I basically just have to do body work and paint on both of them.
If you haven't seen it, I have a lot of pics on how I did my dually fenders, etc. when I did mine. Feel free to check it out below in my sig. |
Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)
Hey thanks for checking in! I have your thread saved in my favorites just because of your rear fender installation! I plan to use a similar method but since my truck will be bagged I'll have to section the fenders and make them taller.

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)
Hey Rus, thanks for the bed and all of the help loading it on the trailer! It was great meeting you and Cubber and checking out your shop and projects.
I just got news that my '67 c30 will be delivered in a few hours so I'll soon be able to start on my own build! |
Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)

Lol ok ok here are a few pictures of the more recent progress.
The rear 4 link dropmember. http://i1296.photobucket.com/albums/...ps2d9fc714.jpg http://i1296.photobucket.com/albums/...ps6acc0818.jpg And the front. http://i1296.photobucket.com/albums/...psbfc4908c.jpg http://i1296.photobucket.com/albums/...ps9d9fe609.jpg I still have a lot to do, I went ahead and sent my A-arms out for powder coat so I can install my ball joints and not have to worry about taking them back out. I should get them back this week, I also plan to put in a big order of parts this week!:chevy: |
