It's hard to tell from the pics, but is that black/charcoal, or dark green? Either way, I like it!

Stealthy-69, it's dark gray but it looks black twenty feet away and it also has black interior.

This is my latest project 1972 Cheyenne/Super SWB. Blasted, primed twice, 4 coats of chassis black. CPP Drop spindles, springs, 4-rear springs, sway bar, shock relocation kit, adj track bar. The rearend recieved a new bearing and seal kit, 3:42 gear, locker unit, drums, shoes, brake hardware kit, summit shocks. The front end recieved new inner and outer tie rods, rod sleeves, upper and lower ball joints, steering box, pitman arm, idler arm, calipers, rotors, and seals and bearings and kyb shocks. The frame is restored like new now, but still lots of work ahead of me.

What made you go back with drum in the rear? I am tring to decide whether to go with disc in the rear or stay with drum. The boys at ECE say it is hard to keep the rear wheels from locking up because the rear is so light so just stay with drum in the rear. They said they have a kit for it but talked me out of it. What do you guys think??

I just wanted to keep it more orginal, I have a pic at the top of this page of my 69 CST and it stops great with the drum setup. I'll keep you posted with more pics as it comes along, I have to save a little and do a little...lol

I know that truck. I have seen it here in Mountain Home, AR at several local shows. Very nice pickup, and the long step bed is unusual, but very cool. :metal:

Oh, I know how that is. I'm in the same boat... Lots of time and idea's but a very limited budget. I've got lots of time so we'll be ok. They say the build is the best part anyway...

Summit sells adjustable Proportioning Valves that should take care of the rears locking up.:chevy:
