My wife handed me an envelope of money saying, "Here, I got it started, now you can't keep putting it off, make the beast live a new."

Just ordered my first batch of steel cab parts and am Craigslisting for a welder this whole week.

Btw, I LOVE my wife! haha!

That's amazing man. She's a keeper!
Hope to see some updates of that truck!
And thank you for your service. :)

She's definitely a keeper! I'll post more pics as I go. I've got a lot of plans for it and this forum keeps feeding my imagination.

62, one of the badest trucks on the board. you need a photo gallery...interior, engine and bed.

Mine were in pretty bad shape so I cut away most of the panels, retaining the portion above the tires so I could keep the factory hood hinges and springs. My engine compartment doesn’t really get much dirtier than it did before, most of the dirt and splatter ending up directly behind the tires. A quick trip to the coin operated car wash cleans it right up.

In the spring I’ll try and remember to take a before picture showing how dirty it got over the winter before I hose it off. Post #129 on the following thread shows how much of the panels were removed:
