Well, in my opinion, that's one of the beauties of the 67-72 Chevy Truck genre. There's enough of the same style to keep us all interested. And enough different to keep all of our interest.

I like your grill. I like 67- 68-69-70 front ends, in general.

But I built a '72 a few years back, The picture of it, and in particular the front end, had me coming back for more.

This time, I had the choice to run a 68 front clip, but I'm going with the '71 (grill's hanging on the wall right now). Pretty much the reverse of what most folks do, given the option.

But, that's the way I want it.

You must be single or have a young wife to have a grill hanging on the wall

Yup. She's 65. But I'm 26. ;)

Naaaw. 39 years of marriage has smoothed out a bunch of stuff. She knows she married a gearhead. As long as I keep my bad habits in the garage or in the office, and keep doing the dishes, I get away with a lot of crap.

The guitars aren't mine. But the office has looked kinda like that from time to time. That '63's gone out of the yard, too.

I kind of got the same deal she gets the house and I get the basement and Garage, she hates it when I wash up in the kitchen sink.

Nice cool looking truck. Hve you thought about getting the back window tinted black so you can't see the backs of the tall seats?

Haven't thought about tinting the back. Seeing the seats through the rear window doesn't bother me. I noticed you can see the seat in the rear window of new trucks, so I'm on par with them i guess;)

EOChev, that doesn't look like enough metal in the sides of your notch to me. I've never done one myself, but most of the ones that are done have a taller side wall on the notch. Just saying, I'm no engineer or anything. I haul in my truck, you might not, so it might not apply. Good luck. Jim

Nice LWB, the 402 is a great touch as well.

yeah there isnt gonna be to much hauled in my pickup. After i got it done i needed to do some power washing on the body and frame, lifted it with a forklift behind the notch and had no problems.

Ya, I've got lots of pics of it. Any thing in particular you're lookin for? WE installed a full set of bags and put all the air management stuff in the tool box in the bed to lower it. Wheels are 20x9 in the rear and 20x8 in front if I remember correctly. Here's a few pics I have on the computer, I got lots more I can upload from my phone though..
