Some assembly required. How much? I don't know, its not my truck. $15000

https://seattle.craigslist.org/est/c...041426963.html

Please read the whole ad-----------This is a PROJECT. I have over $20.000.00 in this truck to date counting what I paid for the truck and new parts. If you have ever done one of these you know what it cost. This is a RARE Canadian truck and I have been told on more than one Chevy forum, by numerous people, that they have never seen a GMC LWB FENDERSIDE (stepside if it were a Chevy). I have literally every part NIB(s) so it would be easier to tell you what I have not got to yet. Bed wood, paint and a few nuts and bolts is about it. Frame is done, cab is setting on frame. New brakes, shocks and front & rear sway bars are on. Driver side rocker needs repair (have parts). PICTURES ARE JUST RANDOM. To date cab (minus doors) is sitting loose on frame under cover and the rest of the truck is in my shed with the exception of the hood which is leaning against my neighbors house. 4 Bolt Main long block is on an engine stand and I have specs on the re-build. It should put out about 300+ HP & Torque. Will have Edlebrock, Quadrajet, MSG, Ram Horns and chrome everything. To much else to list as far as new parts except to say I have about a 2" stack of receipts. If you are handy this is the perfect project that will result in a unique truck that everyone will admire and be worth every cent you put into it and more. TEXT ONLY PLEASE. NO VIN. SCAMMERS OR MORONS ETC.

No VIN?! $15k?! Is there $12k in the glove box? Hope he gets what he is asking. I doubt it, but good luck to him.

Another project truck. $7000 I've not seen it but it looks like it could be a great start on a cool truck. Although the lack of a drivetrain makes the pricing a little high in my book.

https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/...042904690.html

I have a 1972 Chevy C10 short wide bed project for sale. This truck is built from factory short bed parts. The cab is a rare 1972 factory bucket seat cab off of a 2wd 1/2 ton long box cheyenne super truck. The rest of that truck comes with this project. The frame is a factory short frame with disc brakes. The bed is off of a 1968 Chevy Short box truck. The bed is very nice with a very flat bed floor. The truck is titled and licensed with the 1972 cab title.

There is no motor or transmission with this project. All of the parts listed come with the truck. I will not seperate any of this. If it does not sell we will build it once our current project is complete. We were collecting parts for this project with the plans of it being blue and silver or blue and white. We are asking $7000 and are firm on our price.

- Factory bucket seat cab
- Factory shortbed frame
- Factory shortbed
- Cab not cut for sound system
- AC cab
- Factory tilt
- Sport Buckets
- New USA made seat foam
- Restored Console
- Houndstooth seat covers w/scroll
- Restored Tachometer dash
- Totally stainless bolt kit
- Extra running gear
- No motor or transmission
- Weatherstripping
- Seat Belts
- Door panels

High dollar 71 short wide. $50000! Way to expensive for me to own.

https://portland.craigslist.org/clc/...043237243.html

I am selling my 1971 Chevy Cheyenne 10 short wide pick up. This truck is in Beatiful shape. It has a fully rollered small block 350 with aluminum heads , custom oil pump , serpentine belt set up, electric fuel pump , 6AL MSDS ignition, power coated headers , 2-1/2 exhaust from headers back , freshly rebuild super charger (25 miles ago) , duel fan radiator and the list goes on. The motor had about 2600 miles on it. It also has 12 bolt posi with 295/40-ZR20’s in the rear. Tires are in great shape all the way around. The dash has been outfitted with a complete set of Pro comp gauges. It aslo features a Hotchkis sport suspension that makes for a great ride and control. The bed has brand new wood with a new complete bolt kit. Custom bed cover Interior is also perfect. Paint and body are in really really good condition and the chrome package is almost perfect. It runs and drives great. Truck is also an AC truck and is ready to add. I will not consider trades or any low ball offers. Thanks for looking

70 K 10 $32,500. I like this truck a lot. I wish I could afford it.

https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/...041976884.html

This 1970 C10 restore started as a low mileage very well cared for truck. Total Frame off restoration. There was very very minor rust. Truck was taken apart and media blasted. Minor rust repaired along with a little body work. All brakes rebuilt with every thing new in the stock drum breaks. Transmission and transfer case Rebuilt. The 350 that came in the truck was rebuilt. It was bored 60 over with every thing else being stock except for the dress ups. Nice aluminum radiator with duel electric fans. The truck drives stops and turns like new. The seat was recovered with extra padding, new carpet over heat and sound deadening. New door panels and head liner. All new door seals and window felts. The gauges that came with the truck were used with a new surround. Vintage looking Radio in uncut dash installed. A nice wire kit was used to rewire entire truck. Every thing works as it should top to bottom. All lights and housings replaced with new. All trim replaced with new. Grill and surround New, Bumpers front and rear new. Tires and wheels new. Truck was painted in a early 70s Cream with tan interior. Just a very nice complete every nut and bolt restore. Any questions Call Dan at show contact info
Not interested in trades at this time. DO NOT NEED HELP SELLING.

Well optioned GMC Longhorn in an uncommon color and a good price! $4995. Not my truck.

https://portland.craigslist.org/clc/...041603848.html

69 gmc truck. factory longhorn, AC, PS, PB, and Saddle Tanks. Original owners grandson put a rebuilt 396 big block in it. I'm the second family owner. 94099 Original miles on the truck. Very straight body. Minimal rust. Cab corners are solid. No rot in the wood bed. Truck was stored in shop for about 18 years. Its been repainted once. Was maroon originally. Canopy needs help, but could be rebuilt? Brakes, 400 trans, and motor were all rebuilt. Runs and drives, but would not drive it home without newer tires. See pics, and please call with any questions. Thanks

This truck just backs up my theory that there are still tons of nice trucks in Tri States of Washington, Oregon and Idaho. This would make a great truck to drive and enjoy and leave as is or an excellent candidate to add some modern upgrades. Only thing I dont like is the add-on A/C.

This is not a theory. It is a scientific law. And according to Craigslist the majority of them are in Medford.

Ad says It was restored in the eighties. Bedliners were the thing then. I still have one from the last truck I bought out of California laying out back.

The interior is changed to saddle also. Also not unusual 30 years ago. Back then I wouldn't leave a parchment interior in one either.

The truck was ordered with chrome front bumper and hubcaps, a little added bling to an other wise simple truck.

Yep I agree but trying too sell it today the bed liner doesnt help and at the sellers price point I'd want under the box to be as nice as the rest of the truck.

In my 72 Cheyenne Super of yesteryears the mirror fell off the windshield one to many times so I finally went to the wrecking yard and got a roof mount bracket with the correct color cover and installed it, it never fell off again.

I would say because of the screw below the wind wing (72 only) that this could be the same scenario.

Yes in the early years of gluing the mirrors to the windshields the glue was not really the best match for the summer sun and rough roads.

If you live in Kalifornia we have lot's of sun and 100% rough roads.
