Re: My Daughters First Truck
Darrah, thanks for sharing the pictures and keep enjoying your truck! The blanket is a nice touch too. I hope I can build something together with my daughters like you and your father have done here. It is awesome to see a young lady into old trucks and enjoying them too!

How's everyone doing? I know it's been a while. here's a little update. Darrah has graduated from college. She is working in the orthotics and prosthetics field and loving it. She has moved out on her own. (still close enough if she needs Dad). She decided to move on up from the 6 cylinder. So we bought a 327 and had it rebuilt. other than that life is moving on. God has blessed us beyond what we deserve. Below are some install pictures and one of my 29 sedan.

Re: My Daughters First Truck
Glad to see she still like her ole truck.

Re: My Daughters First Truck
I just read through the entire thread. Great job on the truck to both of y'all!
I've been working on my 63 since I was 17 back in 2015 with my dad. It's been a great learning experience about cars and life in general. Definitely something I will always cherish and one of the main reasons I'll never be able to sell my truck. Congrats, Darrah, on graduating! I know that's a good feeling after several years of hard work |

A big congrats to Darrah and sweet upgrade on the 327. Your 29 looks sweet! Do you have a thread in the alternate tinkerings area on here of it?

Darrah changed out the painted grill and bumpers to chrome. Huge difference.

Just a update for everyone. Darrah got engaged and got married this past year. I drove her up the wedding in her truck. Funny thing is she drove them away, with him on the passenger side.

Re: My Daughters First Truck
Congratulations! That’s awesome. Using my former truck in our wedding is a memory I’ll always have and cherish. It made for some great pictures as well.
