Very nice work Alan! Diggin the black bezel, but the black accents on the powder coated one has me intrigued...

I'm dreading when I stick mine back on.
Seeing how you did yours gives me peace of mind.
Thanks.

Yours will be a lot more work than this one since you are stretching it. Your doing a fantastic job!!

Thanks guys!! Still plugging away at it.

Roof welded and ground and smooth on both sides. Started wiping the roof today.

Nice work Alan! Greg's baby is in good hands.

I liked the idea of the silicone blobs under the roof to support the panel.

A little progress for the week. I bead blasted the floor vents and removed the old seals tonight. They are ready to be dropped off at the powder coaters hopefully next week along with a few more parts. Then I can install the new gaskets and reassemble the vent assemblies. Next in line is the vent windows.

Today with the help of my beautiful wife, we took the bed apart. The worst part was getting to two factory welds. It is amazing how the correct tools make the job easier. I may have found a swb parts truck with a good fleetside bed. I will know for sure tomorrow.

The driver's side is pretty decend but the passenger's side has more bumps and dents than one of those MMA fighters. But when I will keep you in mind when that time comes.

No problem Phillip. I found a complete truck back home in Alabama just waiting for the owner to call me back. My fingers are crossed.

Greg, Saw this 60 Vette at Caffeine and Octane this morning with your fawn beige on it, seat color choice really made it come together . It was the prettiest 60's car and color there. Gonna look very nice on your truck.
There's 3 pics here but they don't really do the color justice.
