When you get white to reflect like that, that's remarkable. Nice work!

Oh ya. Finished them last nite. I still have to set one glass on the sash but i dont wanna put the glass in until I have the doors mounted and lined up. Less weight the better.!! BTW we had a killer nite Friday chilling at the house with u. She loved lcr so much she demanded to get it last nite at Walmart.

It was sort of a pckage deal. I bought the cab, doors, radiator, fans and a bunch of little misc parts for $1500. There is a set on craigslist for 250-300 and he's been trying to get rid of it for a while. dont know the specs on his but mine is electric. So far its easy to install. With tje doors off of course.

Re: My 68 swb build.

Well I got a little bit done tonite but not much. I got the hole for the a/c box and mounted. I didnt get it perfectly level but I think its gonna have to do for now. I might fix it when I pull it off to drill the drain hole. Got the a/c control gauges in. Mocked a few a/c hoses up put all the clips on the dashpad and bolted it down. Having a small problem with the defrost vents not wanting to fit but I think I can make them work. Mocked up the glovebox and installed the glove box latch and door. All of this will come back off so I can finish the a/c. It doesnt seem too hard but the wiring is scary. Lots of relays everywhere!! Go the brake pedal assembly mounted and as soon as I figure where to put the fuse block ill start tackling that. I'm suprised the glove box fit with the cut firewall. I will post pics as. Soon as i get another router here at my house. My ex roomate took his back the other day. So no wireless internet yet.

Re: My 68 swb build.

You got the mini one right? I got the 21 circuit. And no problem on the cowl. I did get a few things done the past few hours. Pulled the glove box back oit, wired the fan motor and thermostat cut and ran all but the drivers a/c hose. There's one wire I have no idea where it goes. It says trinary on it. Wth is that suppose to mean? The defrost vents I got to work with a little filing down to fit. Next is the wire harness block mounting or should i do the ebrake pedal first? Also put the glove box and got the door lined up.

Re: My 68 swb build.

Maybe I'm over exaggerating but this harness is wired funny. The rear section is done no problem except the dome light wire I forgot to pull out of it but no biggie. Pretty much got the ignition switch done. On the ignition switch it has two wires from the harness labeled " ignition switch coil" and " ignition switch igniton" and the go to the same terminal. Do these two wires get spliced together or what or take one out?

Now on the headlights switch it says to splice two wires together( red and orange). But my problem kid I'm missing the "dome return" and " instra panel power". What do I do? Any help?

Re: My 68 swb build.

sorry, don't know :D :haha:

I'd post the question (with pictures of the wiring) in the electrical forum. There's some very knowledgeable guys that hang out in there to help people in these situations... might take more than a few hours for a response though....so be patient ;)

Re: My 68 swb build.

Nice build you have and nice deal on the cab itself. I saw all the pictures and sped read so I'm sure I missed a lot.

Nice to see some of you are somewhat local to me. I'm new and am looking around for my first truck to build. I'm sorry to hijack, but can y'all recommend me some shops that might help me with my future build? Upholstery, sheet metal, paint, etc... anything.

Thanks and keep up, 77Chris. Glad to see you made out ok through that nasty motorcycle accident.
