So did I tell you Sat was agood day. He still owes me two steps and one back panel. He is going to deliver it this next week. He come up to Homosassa, Fl. a lot. And now we are looking at getting together and compair builds. I will post the pictures of the 67 cab I bought for the doors soon.

The drivers side rear fender needs a little attention. Someone welded the holes where the tire rack mounts on the fender. there is about 1 inch build up on the welds. A lot of grinding. But I don't mind.

It looks like you got some pretty nice pieces for the money, its too bad that one quarter panel is the spare tire version but for what you spent you couldnt have done better anywhere, considering just one aftermarket fender costs $500, the bed sides are $290 apiece and the tailgate is $240 I would say you got a firesale deal!

The new step bed parts look great. what a nice score, I don't see any rust from here. We like cracker barrel here too!

There was some rust on the drivers side rear fender. At the bottom rear. Going to order a patch panel but no luck as of now. No one has the one for the spair tire style. and yes I do like Crackel Barrel.

well started to clean up the other fender on the drivers side. In this picture you can see the rust on the lower part of the fender. this is the only rust on all the parts. can anyone tell me where I can find a patch panel for this fender.

Also I need two light buckets for the same fender there are some rust in the light bucket on the fenders.

Do you even want the spare tire style fender to begin with, if not use it for a patch panel fender to chop up to repair one that doesnt have the spare tire, thats what I would do.

Today I sand blasted the inside of the drivers side rear fender and primed it. At this time I am not sure if I want a cut out fender for the spair tire.. I really have not made my mind up yet.

That would work. That is a very expensive way to get some patch panels. don't get me wrong I enjoy people to give me ideas. Someimes I can't see out of the box. I am not sure what way I need to go. Save the fender with the spair tire or delete it.

Since the fender is a nice one. I would keep it. You can always sell it later if you want.

I really work My tail off today on my truck. Buy it looks like I did not do anything. I sand blasted the tail gate and the rear roll pan. I have not sand blasted any part that took so long. 8 bags of sand. The person who had this tail gate before me must of painted it with iron. Does the rear roll pan show after I install the bed. Do I need to paint it with the same color as the rest of the truck.

thanks a lot. I worked for 7 hours wire wheeled and sand blasted and primed. But I am really happy the way it turned out.

today I cleaned up one of the doors I got the other day. It looked great when I bought them. Someone bondo the botton and when I was cleaning it up guess what I found. Yes a bunch of rust holes. so it looks like my deal was no deal after all. So I will be ording a bottom for the door.

here are the holes in the door I was so proud of. Bondo is not a cure but a cover up. they even bondo where the west coast mirrows were attache to the door. The bondo is still in the holes where I wire wheeled.
