You just need to add some gauges and valves.

I would but I'm going to put a bed over all this mess. Although that would be cool!

Looks much better with the hard line. That teal truck is nasty. Any more pics of it?

Your truck is looking good. I like the front fenders on that black dually as well.

Thanks man! Yeah I've got a lot of grief on that hard line, ah well that's life... Pic below on the teal dually. He is a super cool guy from Hobbs NM.

I appreciate that! Yeah that truck is actually a root beer brown, but it is so cool in person. They did a great job on it. Hope mine is that clean when it is done.

So the Dually got taken out to it's second show and came away a winner for it's category! Good times with good friends, and a nice plaque to top it all off.;)

So I posted this on Facebook last night and asked the question if they thought the red and silver combo on this C10 would look good on the dually? The comments I got back were very positive. I have both of these colors in the shop right now. I just need to finish up the body work and shoot it.

Your thoughts?

I like the red and silver as well. It has the factory feel with the two tone, but is custom because they are not factory colors.

I agree!

Congrats on the plaque! I dig the two tone...our trucks are just too big for one color.

Congrats on the class win and I think the truck will look great with those colors on it!

Did another video (because I was bored) on the Dually over the holiday weekend. Check it out and let me know what you think.

That's cool! What do you use for editing?

I tried using a iPad with all of my build pics in a slideshow as a show prop instead of the photo book everyone uses. It seemed like a good idea, but it was too bright outside to see it.

I use Microsoft Movie Maker. I believe it is a free download for Windows 8/10 users. I like it because it is easy to use and edit my stuff. Plus once your done you just click a button at the top and it will publish it in YouTube. Nice bit of software.

We started a weekly drive-in group on Facebook, and each week we go to a different Drive-in in and around our area. Tonight was fun at an old time drive-in in Lubbock called Miss Ann's. We even had Dustin from Gas Monkey Garage come hang out with us. He brought out a new ride he has been working on, the white truck you see here.

Great fun and the Dually was a blast. Love the looks it gets from "normal people". The husbands want to come look at it, but their wives are like no! Too funny!

Love the video, with the different angles and some music. I went through Lubbock on my way to Austin and back to Montana this past week and was hoping to see your truck somewhere, but it didn't happen. :metal: :metal:

Not really any new updates so far. I'm trying to get psyched up to start on the balance of the body work (which actually isn't really that much). The roof and the drivers door need some attention before I can throw some paint on it. I have been working more on the door positions and body gaps lately.

Maaaann i gotta 78 dually crew cab..an ny old truck was a 65 and i wanted to put a 65 dash in my 78 i knew thoses years would look cool. Never seen one before. Did you see one like that or just had an idea it would look cool?

I hope the paint job I am thinking about will come out looking good on this ride.

The dash was a 2 part deal. First I have a 61 cab and it was super rusty, but the dash was in amazing shape, so I took it out after doing a ton of measurements and dropped it in my ride. Part 2 of this was a buddy had done this type of dash swap in his C10, but his was the later 64-66 dash and was the main inspiration for my swap.

On your ride go ahead and just do it. The big thing you have to consider is the AC setup and all the wiring can be a big mess, but if your into fab work then it is a must do!
