I wish I could. lol Issue is that I would still have interference. I would have to space the bracket out some 5 inches. lol I'm gonna keep tinkering and see if I can figure out something. Thanks!

Yeah, The new cover with be a taller finned aluminum cover. So I'll be detail painting the fins. Its the one I originally Wanted to go with, but no body had ever gotten the smooth one so I ended up getting that one...then liked the setup. lol And now I can get the one I want. haha. :chevy:

TJ plug the hole behind the bracket and put the breather on the carb side. you can always get the other v-cover. you got me thinking about A/C now lol. eng is looking good.

Nope, the plugs and plug wires will be fine. I can bring the compressor up higher if I have those issues. It's pretty adjustable. lol :chevy:

lol. Yeah, only a $270 valve cover. haha. Well, the plan WAS to Paint today, but I'll only be priming as the lid popped open on my paint can and my paint is solid as concrete. :(

Paint showed up Tuesday! Work done Wednesday....Rule of thumb....never paint when your tired. More couldn't go wrong. lol Well...everything came out nice....except for the trailing arms. My lighting was terrible and I sprayed the paint on a wee bit thick too fast. Oh well....I can always color sand a re-shoot them if I'm that worried. But for now here's some pictures. Axle is what came out the best. lol :chevy:

Getting things mocked up(picture 1) while waiting for parts to dry(picture 2). Also thought it would be neat to leave my u-bolts bare metal instead of painting them so they'd match the differential cover so I clear coated them. :metal:

Thanks guys! Was able to get most of it hooked back up this evening. :metal: Gotta run to the hardware store tomorrow and get some more bolts and nuts to mount my coils and the rear end is done for now. Pictures tomorrow. Later guys! :chevy:

Moving along a wee bit! Got the axle mounted to the trailing arms. Really please with how the u-bolts look with the differential cover. :metal: Also go stainless bolts and some never seize for the trailing arm bolts. Hoping that combo will work well to keep squeaks and future rust to a minimum. Got the wrong bolts from the bolt store so I couldn't mount my coils tonight. :waah: Ah well...tomorrow is another day. See ya! :chevy:
