Love the tan one.. I've been thinking of getting a set of those rims for my 3+3, and getting a machine shop to add a few inches of width to mount some bigger tires..

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

My brother has 12.5 wide tires mounted on his.

Isn't the two tone tan truck Hill's shop truck?? I thought that it had an earlier front cap ... maybe I'm mistaken.

Either way ..... nice truck.

Wow.. I wanted to use my factory steel wheels since I liked the look, but ditched them for 8" wide rims for 35" tires (315/75/16) I guess you can get away with more tire to rim width difference depending on the height of the tire..

Yes Joe231 ...... I wish you had the pix too. I'm in the process of upgrading the front, rear & consoles in my 87 crew.

What year model seat set did they use??

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

89-91 suburban seats, and they found somewhere to buy the matching upolstery to redo the rear seat. I have the same seats, console, and overhead console (only in blue) from a '89 sub if you would like me to take pics of my stuff.

I want to upgrade to a later set though.

Thanks.

it started out with the factory clip, and then was changed as the suburban donor was gutted!!

Joe you have to explore other sites then just this one. LOL
I got some of those on www.streetsourcemag.com, www.c10forum.com, www.duallyscene.com, jancecustoms.com (show coverage pics) SoCalcustoms.com sometimes i wish i could get paid to search the internet. sometimes i will have 20pages open all at once, saving pics and exploring info. it's addicting. then when i turn off the laptop then my blackberry stills gets the site updates. :)
