Spotted this 68 k10 short stepper today . Talked with the owner he’s the second owner . Truck was nice 305 4spd very little rust .

Saw this nice stepside down from Vancouver at Delta Park.
The Task Force was down on North Mississippi Ave. And a poor forlorn C20 that a dog wouldn't let me get any closer to. |

Visiting family in Chandler, TX. Had to make a run to Tyler to the Home Depot and saw this beauty.
It has the same door mirror I will be using on both sides of my 69 SWB Stepside. |

Saw this one on vacation in Coupeville, WA on Whidbey Island last week. Looks like a '71 Cheyenne. Wish I could have had more time to look at it. It was next to the Air B&B we stayed in and I didn't see it on the way in. Saw it as we were rushing to get to the ferry to come home. Looks like it has been sitting a while.

Saw a teenager driving this 68 longed semi-aggressively in busy traffic today. Not something you see too often anymore, unfortunately.

The K10 they used to have got replaced with this International. Someone must have made them an offer they couldn't refuse.

They probably bought it for scrap price back in the day because they thought it'd be cute to have in front of their store, then the prices for those trucks shot up and like you said, someone surprised them with a lot of money for what they thought was an old piece of junk.

Time to catch up on some sightings. The first one I saw at Sunset Speedway in Banks OR. I believe it is a retired track truck. I also spotted a 71/72 Cheyenne on the track grounds later but it was too dark to get a picture.
The next one passed me on I-5 north bound. Slammed on large wheels. It was almost faster than my quick draw camera. Then a pair of earlier ones seen in North Portland. |
