Have you thought of putting it in Auction?

Re: Project Vitamin C-10
Very good build thread
If you sold it would you do another one ? Congratulations on winning truck of the month on the Facebook page |
Re: Project Vitamin C-10
Well, I voted for you as well, and despite my wife saying my truck has to have a white roof, I still love your whole colour combo.
Well done. |
Re: Project Vitamin C-10

Thanks guys for the votes on FB. The reason I was thinking about selling was to help get a new house. We were able to do it without selling it. :) we closed this past Friday on our new (35 year) old house. The girls set up the extra family room in the basement for my trophies. I like it. http://i803.photobucket.com/albums/y...ps95a546aa.jpg |

Re: Project Vitamin C-10
Congrats Alan! We're in the process of looking for our first home. It's a bit exciting & frustrating all at the same time. Hopefully we'll find what we need/want by Summer at least. Glad you were able to keep the truck. :bowtie:

I've been working in the new shop getting it ready to move in. For those that don't know it is 40x30 and had a beauty parlor in the back 15' and had a walkway going back to it. First I removed the hallway wall. http://i803.photobucket.com/albums/y...ps7ce801ca.jpg Then the back wall. The carpet shows where the wall was. It has a bathroom, hot water heater and faux fireplace with an LP heater installed. http://i803.photobucket.com/albums/y...ps212e9d77.jpg Now clean it up, pull up carpet, add electrical for lights and 220. Figure out how I will park cars in it so I can locate where the lift will be. The ceiling is 10' so I have to raise it 2' to clear lift. If anyone has some scaffolding locally that I can borrow it would be much appreciated. Once I get moved in the outside needs some cosmetic work as well as the house. |
Re: Project Vitamin C-10
As much as I liked your other shop this one looks like it will work out much better for you .If you are on Amicalola EMC you can buy your electrical supplies (wire, breakers ,etc )at cost ,much cheaper than the local supply houses .Water heaters too.

Re: Project Vitamin C-10
I have a dilemma. A buddy of mine (board member) wants to sell his 66 GMC burb. I always wanted a burb, but need a truck. I looked the burb over pretty good. It runs and drives. He takes it everywhere. It's unmolested. A little rot in floor. Inner rockers are still there. One cab support rotted. Inner fenders are pretty nice. A few rust spots on roof gutter. Barn doors, just front seats.
My dilemma is I need a truck not a burb, but I don't want to pass this one up. http://i803.photobucket.com/albums/y...A9FC9632EE.jpg |
Re: Project Vitamin C-10
Well it would make a nice addition to the family. If the price is right jump on it. Getting harder to find by the day. So what's the dilemma?
