Installed
https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img924/2999/29XI0X.jpg .06" gap with no gaskets installed. Add the 2 gaskets add another .070".. Plenty.. the Dirty Dingo adapters were thicker and the belt was a pretty close to the edge of the pulley, it would work but these are as close as I wanted it to get, which will put the belt more centered/away from the edge of the pulley. https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img922/9128/0h47FN.jpg |

Are you allowed to post the picture? I think I read you work at holley correct? |
Re: LT1 GenV swap
If anyone's interested 140 shipped for a pair of adapters, no bolts or hardware.. not planning on a 2nd order at this time so 4 sets is all I will have to sell. These also don't have a npt port on the passenger side like the DD ones. I chose not to have it made into it since not everyone, myself included wants it. Plus, npt taped holes are sealed with the threads and Teflon and can done by anyone with one hand and one eye and minimal tools which if your doing this swap you have .. hopefully...

Re: LT1 GenV swap
Thanks for the picture. What's the solution to a vacuum source? Drilling and tapping the truck manifold or electric pump? Will there be other fead setups or just this one pictured.
Thanks Tod, Clint |

I spoke with the VP of sales and marketing, Wayne Powell, from Kwik Performance today at the good guys show at Texas motor Speedway. They have an A/C and alt. bracket set up that comes with a type 2 power steering pump that works with the factory L83 truck water pump, leaving the vacuum pump in its factory location. I think He told me it is $535 or so shipped to your door. You still would need to provide your own reservoir for the power steering pump. Sorry for the sideways photo.

Re: LT1 GenV swap
Btw Wayne with Kwik was very knowledgeable and ready to do business.

Hahaha! Its funny how asthetics are as important as function. Im with ya... Are you going to make extras to sell on those also? I liked the KWIK setup because the PS pump is low and looked simple to plumb, a short distance to the gearbox.

Does the holley brackets fit a stock lt1 alternator? This is basically what it is.. it woukd use the captors alternator and tensioner... gonna need to put the intake on it, but it should be 0 problems with that, and ad far as hood clearance, it's only raised maybe 1-2 inches... if the intake is higher than the alt, no problems https://imageshack.us/a/img921/473/Zgb5Qo.png |

Minor parts
Oil cooler bypass cover just incase the oil cooler manifold doesn't fit. https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img922/7299/1zkyV5.jpg |
Re: LT1 GenV swap
And the long awaited fuel pump driver module connector.. brought 2nd one to use for one additional harness:)
https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img924/5457/yAdSPQ.jpg Besides the belt drive that's almost worked out and motor mount adapters I think I'll be ready for the swap. |
Re: LT1 GenV swap
87Chevy.com, the Holley alternator bracket will accept the LV3/L83/L83 truck alternator, but not the LT1/LT4 alternator. This is due to the mounting hole spacing difference between them.
