weld a crank rod for a Hanger .......love that . into my work cycle for the next few day trying to keep motivated doing little things took these to the sandblaster cabinet researching Hydrovac.... I read you have to use special oi in booster to keep the leather seals from drying out once a yr...... I'm shure that has never happend so. I'm going to replace the master cylinder and booster unit.... and lines and hoses and wheel cylinder . anyone steer me were i might find these parts for my 6B.? But tomorrow I'm buying the Ol Man Lunch taking him to the DMV see if I can't get some traction on the Title...... like a member from Touchet, WA. sudjusted then were going to see about Firing this dude off on the Propane the Ol man he's handy like that. if not I'll cut bait and go on Gasoline...... . . Let me just say this ...... .. Finding my fathers old truck which I have not seen/dirven in 38 yrs and bring it home and getting it started. Finding this forum (well i was here before this truck have a 63 fleetside) still didn't think anyone was working on early Apache's.? I've just noticed my truck mag's are filled with third gen trucks (55-59) even going to a brake store in the city and finding an 55 yr old Hydrovac booster on the shelf ...Just doesnot happen.? Call it Fate, Magic, I don't know what is going on.? It feels like a was selected to save this truck yes I found it Or did this truck found me.? ........................................... so this what i will do..My way with a lot of help from good people I meet here and along the way Thank you ..... scott (softpatch) . . I won and put an HEI in it...the point were shot and another set would mean another day. Took the hdrovac unit to the shop for a rebuild and order a reman Master cylinder should be middle next week just about time for my work cycle.
