I think it would be cool as a 4x4, small or big block, 4 on the floor, 37"-42" tires, and a long step side bed.

Not a bad idea. Hadn't thought of that. At least the large wheels/tires would kinda fill the fender openings.

That's what I was thinking. You would be able to keep those front fenders and you wouldn't see another truck like it.

Need an idea? You want a rat rod? Why not do something like this? Saw this at Goodguys Nationals in Pleasanton CA yesterday.

Is that a Fiero drivetrain you're sportin'? If so, best use of a Fiero to date!

I would keep the big fenders and install a set of wheels from a bi rig like the "wanna be" guys do with the new duallys.

I like it! What does the thing do that looks like a cartridge belt (interior view that shows the seat)?

Yes it is . 2.8 V6 with 5 speed out of a 1988 model gets 23 MPG pushing a truck that weighs over 3100 lbs

dont touch the body, come up with a good looking grill idea. build a 3"x4" 1/4 wall frame and run 22" semi wheels all around with a flat bed that's big enough to haul a car or truck. power comes from a mid 90s Cummins with a manual and a 5" exhaust. 4 link and bags in back with a narrowed 3/4 or 1 ton front end. make the interior nice enough to ride in for hours and go to a ton of shows. That should cost you about $9000.

That cabover is sweet! My older brother has a couple 46 cabovers he just bought to build. our shop advertising truck is a 46 1/2 ton that is rough looking and lettered up with the shop logo! no one wanted the truck before it was done up now we've had about 20 people try to buy it 'cause it looks cool"!
