Im looking at that cross member for my Burb. So keep the build photos coming

I'm from the West Coast but have spent all my time on the (L)east Coast so far...

I put stuff up as I go with the cross member. Mine is one of his earlier versions. It's very similar though. His new ones look REAL nice and so do the arms he is making now. I have the Air Ride arms (I bought them before Porterbuilt started making his own) for mine with Baer brakes on drop spindles.

Also, in case anyone was on the fence about ordering from Porterbuilt, DO IT, all of the pieces look awesome. The welds are beautiful, everything looks GREAT!

Frame notch cut, got ready weld...and no gas...on a Sunday. :dohh: I had to bolt one side up so I could get a preview. I still need to trim the lip on the inside of the fenders so it will go all the way down.

The front is pretty much done now with the exception of putting the bags on. I welded up the notches for the steering yesterday. I'll try to post some pictures later. I'm trying to decided whether to attack the motor or the rear suspension next...

I cut the front fenders to get it down to where its supposed to be and started working on the back. I pulled the fenderwells out in the back, removed the exhaust, and pulled the shocks and coils. Unfortunately the project will probably go on hold for the majority of the next 2 weeks because I am moving my wife and kid out to San Diego.

Well I got the rear stripped down to the frame and set the notches on. Hopefully I can get the holes drilled tomorrow and cut it on Saturday. The goal is to have the rear done by Monday...

With the help of my garage assistants :metal: I got the front bags on (this was before I started on the back) and put a good dent in the motor work.
